Goodbye, cruel....Michigan

Greetings one and all. It has been quite some time since I have updated, and there are, no doubt, many wonderful and magical tales I should share. But that will have to wait. In just a few moments I will be leaving the bleak, grey skies of Michigan for the slightly less bleak, less grey skies of Indiana, en route to the bright, sunny, hurricane-laden air of Florida. Chelle and I are spending New Years with fellow Oxonians Scott and Sarah. Happiness ensues.
See you all on the other side.

Michigan isn't cruel! You are a total Oxford brain! That means you have an Oxford University student's brain, a brain that looks like Oxford University, or your brain is an Oxford University.
Your pick.

You missed a great thunderstorm and a 40 something degree day today. I'm sure you're heartbroken.

And hooray for me, I got to drive back to school in the torrential downpour. But I had Over the Rhine to keep me company, so it was all good. :)

Hey Brian, I hope you had an awesome time in Florida at your reunionette. I am jealous.

I really appreciated your review of P&P. I haven't seen it yet because I am not a Kiera Knightley fan and was scared for it. And then I read a review that quoted Charlotte as saying to Elizabeth "Don't you dare judge me!" and then I got very sad, because that is such an incongruous postmodern relativistic thing to be throwing in an Austen movie. But perhaps I will see it after all.

Happy New Year!

Hope you have a good time and that it is more toasty than hurricany. We are having a very nice and snowy time here in Connecticut. And...*ahem*...that's a lot of discussion about the weather.

Perhaps your time in a warmer clime will make you see the error of your ways. No one should live below 40 degrees. Do you think the Garden of Eden got below 40? Right. I didn't think so.
